There is some debate as to whether the actual date of Antony and Cleopatra’s suicide is August 12th or 13th 30 BC in the modern calendar, but I’m quite partial to the figure of the Queen of Egypt, especially as Shakespeare imagined her, and I rather enjoy the connection to my birthday. Zoom
