Roundtable: The Actors (via thrnetwork)

Is acting art? 2010 Oscar nominees Colin Firth, Stanley Tucci, Morgan Freeman, Peter Sarsgaard and Christoph Waltz hash it out at lunch.

Result: Nicolas Cage gatecrashed the party and brought the mindless blather to steal the spotlight (“we’re not hiding behind guitars. It’s us. We have to respect that.” There are more pearls of such kind in here. Seriously, check it out); Firth brought the politeness; Tucci brought the wine; Freeman brought the cheer; Saarsgard brought nothing to say; Waltz brought the I’m-the-only-one-who-can-pronounce-Bach’s-name-correctly-here and the now-listen-to-me-being-the-only-one-who-has-anything-intelligent-to-say stuff.

Damn straight.
