So we left Canterbury, UK at 7.20am to board an 8.30am ferry to France. Because of last weekend’s massive Eurostar/Channel Tunnel fuck-up, there was a huge backlog of cars and freight trucks stuck at the port of Dover trying to reach their destination across La Manche since last Friday, and instead of the normal 15 minutes it took us over two hours to reach the harbour and board the ferry.
